Looking for some feedback on Zen windows
Well, Marvin has the worst customer service … so keep that in mind. Failed to give me a clue what’s wrong with leaking window — just said it was not their window that was the problem/everything’s fine. Not at all helpful when I asked for a hint or two as to what possibly to go back and tell the installer (general contractor) — who of course, will say its the window, not his work. And then I, as the unlucky customer, will just be stuck in the middle. This ain’t rocket science for an installer or window company. Should be able to help me more than this. Goodbye, Marvin Windows. Thanks for nothing.
I really appreciate your information on window replacement. My brother’s windows are too dirty to just wash. I’ll suggest he get them replaced.
Hi,
Had a Pella rep come out and check for 8 sliding windows. He quoted the windows and installation at almost 1500.00 a window. There are a few sizes but most are right around 48×48. These are the encompass ones. He said the 250 were good but these were similar for less. I’m also seeing Lowe’s sells something similar under the Thermastar name. My questions are, 1500.00 seems crazy and that includes a 450 percent install discount but you never really see the original price to tell. I estimate around 400/window for replacing existing with new ones, not replacements. Second is are these the same windows at Lowe’s for 300.00? I’m located in MN, any suggestions on other brands? What should this window cost with installation? No trim work.
