Yes. NT Windows are perfectly fine. There are inherent risks associated with any smaller manufacturer which is something we talk about quite a lot. As a result this is not a manufacturer that we would recommend. Find other replacement window reviews here.
All NT windows will be custom made to order so it will take some time for your window order to be custom made and delivered. We would expect to see orders in 8 weeks or so. Keep in mind that demand can change throughout the year. Be sure to ask your salesman about expected timing for your order. You can find more info about how long it takes to get new windows in 2022 here.
Yes. NT windows offers a range of efficiency options that are very similar to what you’ll find from most window manufacturers. There is nothing particularly unique about the efficiency of NT windows.
The pricing for NT windows will vary quite a lot based on the options you pick, the nature of the installation and the salesperson. Many times in-home salespeople are paid on commission that goes up when the sale price goes up. This can be challenging for homeowners. See our section on common window sales tactics for more info on how some companies can operate.
NT windows are generally available in North Texas and the surrounding area. They are not distributed nationally like larger manufacturers.
I wouldn’t. There’s nothing inherently wrong with these windows, but these little manufacturers are a risky bet. There’s no significant reason to take the gamble on the smaller producer so it’s always our advice to look for a larger and more well established manufacturer. With a larger manufacturer it’s more likely that they’ll be around for the long haul to handle any warranty issues.
Yes. In our experience the windows from NT are perfectly fine, but there are many other options that are also great. My company offers windows from a much larger manufacturer in the North Texas area and that might be an option to consider rather than taking the gamble on the smaller manufacturer.
The NT Windows warranty is decent but not as good as the warranty you’ll see from other companies. For example, NT windows says they offer a lifetime warranty that is transferable. While that’s true the devil is in the details when it comes to window warranties. For example, if you rent your house they only offer a 10 year warranty. The warranty is also only transferable in the first 10 years, after that you’re out of luck.
There are a few other warranty limitations to be aware of. For example, the warranty on exterior colors is only 15 years and glass breakage isn’t covered past 90 days unless your dealer buys the additional glass breakage warranty.
Fort Worth. NT Windows are made in Ft Worth and distributed in the surrounding area.
According to Linkedin, Ryon Ray is the president and CEO of NT windows.
NT windows makes both vinyl and aluminum windows. Vinyl windows have become the most popular window material by a wide margin. Most people pick vinyl windows because they are more durable, more efficient and more cost effective. There are specific circumstances when aluminum windows may be used, but they’re not nearly as popular as they were 20 years ago.
