Yes. The warranty from Associated Materials is pretty good. Most models come with a lifetime warranty. Some models will come with a glass breakage warranty and some include labor coverage as well.
The nicer windows from Associated Materials can be a good value. The lower end models are not as nice and that is the case with all manufacturers. Since the windows are all custom made there are many available options and configurations. Your dealer should be able to make a recommendation and explain the available options. Note, all dealers will not be able to sell all brands and models offered by AMI.
The timing for all replacement window manufacturing has been extended over the last year or so. Windows from AMI are also on a longer lead time than usual. For most popular models and styles a manufacturing time of 6-8 weeks is typical right now. Keep in mind that some options like exterior colors or custom sized patio doors can take much longer.

What is the noise ratings STC on their windows.
That will depend on the window model and the glass package you pick. Associated Materials makes a pretty wide range of options so there will be many possible configurations. I have had warranty claim issues for more than two and a half years and the windows they did sent went bad right away their workmanship sucks I am ready to go to small claims court for multiple emails and documentations from Windows not being replaced that have already been replaced and went bad within days I’m trying to sell my home and can’t even sell it the windows are so bad.
Unanswered emails or emails it when I’ve already got a window claim and a number they tell me that I have to start a new claim it just is one battle after another with them then they tell me it’s not on file
Hi Sandy, which company installed the windows? Are they still around? Usually the dealer can be a resource to make any warranty claim easier. At least that’s how it works in my experience. There are also sometimes issues where the customer thinks the windows are the problem, but there could be an installation problem contributing to the difficulty in getting it resolved. Having the company that sold the windows involved can defininltey help.
We had 12 Preservation e glass windows and a sliding glass door installed and have basically been thrilled with the results with the exception of one window.
The frame has warped on that window letting cold air and small bugs in. We were provided with a copy of a warranty stating “Lifetime warranty- PVC Frame and Sashes” “The PVC extrusions will not chip, crack, peel, blister, pit or warp.” Now I’m told the warranty is only good for 7 years. Nowhere in my contract or the warranty agreement does it state that 7 years is considered a lifetime. What steps do we need to take to get this one window repaired? Why would any reputable company resort to such nonsense and not stand behind their product? Our neighbors have received advertisements for Woodbridge Windows (so have we) and until now we have whole heartedly endorsed the product. Hate to think we steered them wrong due to warranty issues.
That’s interesting. Who told you the warranty was only good for 7 years? That’s not something I would have expected. I wonder if it was the retail company rather than the manufacturer?
