Hi, I’m in Coeur d’Alene (about 25 minutes outside of Spokane) and looking to get a few windows replaced. Our climate is wet in winter and dry in summer, and some of our old windows have issues with condensation. My budget is probably $400-700 per window, and I am thinking of just replacing the worst offenders now and potentially updating the others (which don’t necessarily have problems, but I’d like them to match) at a later date.
I am wondering if there is any “best” time of year to replace windows (in non-urgent scenarios)?
No, generally companies will work all year so there really isn’t any time of year that is better for replacing windows than any other. I don’t know anyone in Spokane to recommend so I’m not much help on that front. Let us know how the project goes.
To Window Dog (PLUS Arielle above…Feb 2) FYI- we’re just west of Coeur d’Alene (in Post Falls) & just got a quote on a replacement BR window from a Spokane Home Depot window Rep. So now I’m searching Reviews on the Simonton 6500 line. They boast a lifetime replacement program, no extra charge. Any experience with this model & sales pitch? Thanks!
