what are the best rated windows for fargo,north Dakota .looking for reviews from people that have had their windows 10 plus years
I have an older Prairie style 4 square home and am trying to educate myself on replacement windows. My windows are a custom design (all oak) double hung and I hate to replace them but they’re 100 years old and most won’t open. I never take down the storm windows because I can’t get to the second floor and they are deteriorating. I’ve contacted 3 or 4 installers so far and the quotes swing quite a bit from each other. They’ve all recommended vinyl replacements but I’d like to be true to the original design and am overwhelmed by the choices available. Any recommendations for windows in an historic North Dakota home?
