Who measures and installs the windows?
Another great question. All of our projects in Cincinnati are professionally measured and installed by the manufacturer’s installation service. This means that the window manufacturer will take the exact measurements and then handle the installation as well. It’s a great way to make sure you get a quality result.

I have Champion windows through out my house. What I need is some of the glass replaced. Do you offer that kind of service?
No we don’t do that. The easiest thing may be to order the sashes from Champion. You may even have a warranty on them.

My wifw and I recently purchased Renewal by Anderson windows. The sales person showed us how single, dobe and triple pane windows block heat from a heat lamp. We loved the triple pane and that is what we thought we bought. We got double pane windows also the price was so high, but thought they were a good choice.
The installer left shims in the sliding glass door and did not trim the excess insulation, nor apply trim to cover the “trimmed” installation. Both are in thee contract!
Hi John, have you talked to their office about it? I would expect the Renewal by Andersen folks in Cincinnati would be able to get that fixed up for you. The trim should be simple and there’s nothing inherently wrong about shims. You want the door to be level. Unfortunately if the contract didn’t specify triple pane glass then you’re probably out of luck there. I wasn’t aware that Renewal by Andersen ordered triple pane glass, but it’s certainly possible that they do.
Is it possible the heat lamp demo he showed you was designed to show you how their “special glass” is just as good as triple pane? That sounds like something you might see in a window demo.
Do you perform warranty work for Alside windows? I have several that have seals broken and need replaced and one that has a cracked pain.
Do you just do installs (on a porch to replace screened in openings) that are 36×63? I can supply the windows. If you do, how much for double hung vinyl windows each? I have 8 of them.

Hi Steve, my company doesn’t install windows we didn’t provide as we’d end up getting callbacks and dealing with issues related to products we didn’t want to service in the first place. It’s usually easiest to order windows from the company that will be installing as they’re familiar with the product, they know how to get service and resolve any issue. Did you order the windows already?
