If you’re looking for Serious Windows reviews you’re living in the past. Unfortunately Serious Windows has been out of business for some time now.

They made a big splash in the market with a lot of interesting ideas. Serious got into the window business buying up the assets of bankrupt companies. They bought up assets from Jancor, Republic windows and more.

There was some scandal when they bought Republic windows. I remember at the time that it sounded like there was some creative deal making going on. They made deals with the unions, the creditors, and everyone involved. Now that they’re long gone I guess none of that matters too much.

The marketing was great and the products seemed fine, but they likely discovered that this is a pretty competitive industry.

The big claim to fame was the Heat Mirror glass packages. I’ve never been a huge fan of Heat Mirror technology as it never made much sense to me.

The supporters of Heat Mirror say it’s the most super duper thing since sliced bread, but I’ve never understood what makes it any better than a regular triple pane glass package that you can get from almost anyone.

Serious windows reviews are going to be in sort supply lately since the company is long gone. If you have serious windows you’re probably out of luck in terms of warranty or access to parts.

If you’re looking to buy windows this is a great example of why I always suggest buying from a large and well established company. Serious was new and they thought they were pretty fancy. Now they’re gone and everyone who bought their windows is out of luck.
